Many people have requested information about other divorce support groups in their local area.

At this time, we don't know of any other groups within Maine. Divorce Perspectives is the only year-round support group in the state that we are aware of.

Some churches often have support groups or seminars for those going through divorce or other life-changing events. If you belong to a church, check with them to see if they can help. Or check with friends and neighbors who belong to other churches to see if they know of any such activities.

Also, many find that individual counseling provides a great service, especially in the early stage of divorce. Please check your local listings for such licensed professionals.
